PHARMACOLOGICAL ACTION:
A probiotic is a live microbial dietary supplement that beneficially affects the host by improving its intestinal microbial balance and exerting health affects beyond basic nutrition.

Mega Probiotic 4 Kids restores and maintains intestinal flora balance. By introducing live viable probiotic organisms into the intestinal tract, the primary and secondary flora populations are increased (composed of Bifidobacteria and lactobailli respectively). Transitory flora including 
pathogenic or bad bacteria, are not able to colonize the host, as the endogenous (beneficial) micro flora exert two main beneficial functions; 1) to protect the host against infection and 2) aid the 
digestion and nutrient absorption process. Lactobacilli predominantly colonize the small intestines, while Bifidobacteria only colonize the large intestine as they are strictly anaerobic.

Mega Probiotic 4 Kids offers broad spectrum protection throughout the intestinal tract. The primary action of probiotics is balancing of the intestinal micro flora. A variety of health benefits are associated with probiotics and healthy intestinal flora. The probiotic strains in Mega Probiotic 4 Kids play an important role in preventing the development of diarrhoea, lactose intolerance, flatulence, bloating, antibiotic treatment, food  allergies, poor nutrient absorption and irritable bowel syndrome.

INDICATIONS:
Mega Probiotic 4 Kids assists in the restoration and maintenance of the intestinal microflora and is therefore beneficial in instances where there is an imbalance of intestinal flora such as:
• Gut health    
• Immunity
• Digestion    
• Skin

Mega Probiotic 4 Kids may also assist in stimulating the Immune system.

CONTRADICTIONS:
Mega Probiotic 4 Kids is contra-indicated in individuals who are hypersensitive to any of the ingredients.

DOSAGE AND DIRECTIONS FOR USE: One (1) tablet per day.

SIDE EFFECTS AND SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS:
Large doses may cause loose stools in some individuals.

KNOWN SYMPTOMS OF OVERDOSAGE AND PARTICULARS OF ITS TREATMENT: 
Loose stools and hyperactivity may occur whereupon the administration of Mega Probiotic 4 Kids  should be discontinued temporarily.
